Ahmedabad, December 21: A news published by India Live, claims that Within three days after the announcement of demonitisation, 500 crore deposit was received at co-operative bank located at Ashramam road,Ahmedabad . Interesting thing is BJP president Amit Shah is the director of this Bank.The Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate have started investigation on this information.
Source also says the major part of this 500 crore was deposited on the same night on announcement of demonitisation. There are 190 branches for this co-operative bank. But the money in such large amount is deposited only in its head office at Ashramam Road. It was also observed the money has started flowing to the bank just after the demonitisation announcement on November 8.
